The purpose of this project was to install a berm between the wetlands and the existing parking lot to prevent flooding and sediment deposit onto the parking lot.
Due to the time of year (late fall), the project had to be completed quickly to avoid saturated soils and prevent timely completion.
Our team imported clay fill and compacted in place for approximately 900' long berm x 3' tall. Our diverse equipment lineup allowed us to utilize the right equipment at each phase of the project to maximize efficiency and reduce the overall time it took to complete the project which was critical due to the fall construction window allowing us to beat the project schedule by half.
